Electric Apparatuses Factory Zwarpol Ltd. was established in 2002 by former employees of  ABB company. Management and engineering staff were many years work for High Voltage Apparatus Factory ZWAR having its roots in Kazimierz Szpotanski Factory. (K. Szpotanski was precursor of Polish electrotechnical industry, built first high voltage transmission line and became first  president of Electrotechnical Polish Society).  Now, the Company employ the best specialist in field of designing and manufacturing electric apparatuses and energy-electronic.

In November 1918 in two-room flat near Mirowska Street Kazimierz Szpotanski  founded a company called  The High Voltage Apparatuses Factory K. Szpotanski and Company. In the beginning he was employing 2 people and his first product was light switches. After remove to Praga (Warsaw) company developed quickly.
